Terms & Conditions
The International Rugby Club Inc. (“IRC”) is an incorporated rugby club within the Northland Rugby Union. These terms and conditions refer to your membership between yourself and the IRC.
Your annual membership will be activated after acceptance of your application and payment of the annual membership fee
Membership is not transferable
The IRC and its affiliates retain the right to amend its membership categories, benefits and criteria at its sole discretion, without prior notice, at any time. However, any details of such amendments will be posted online. The IRC and its affiliates retain the right to refuse applications for membership at their discretion.
The annual membership fee is NZD$25. Membership is effective from the date payment is accepted. The IRC and its affiliates retain the right to change the membership fee you pay but will inform you about any such changes before they are implemented. The IRC and its affiliates retain the right to change the definition and eligibility criteria for any discounted rate.
The IRC and its affiliates retain the right to offer and/or change any membership benefit/s, promotional offer/s and special prices but will inform members of any such changes.
As part of the IRC Membership (as at 12 December 2016), IRC Members are entitled to sign up for a Far North Fuels (FNF) fuel card and will receive up to 11c/litre off fuel purchased via this card. In addition, the IRC Member will have the right to choose how much of the total discount (25%, 50% or 100%) will be donated to a rugby club of the IRC Members choice. Donations will be accrued and made on an annual basis. If an IRC Member wants to change their preferred rugby club (via their IRC Member account accessed online) they must do so prior to the IRC making the annual donation payment, otherwise the original rugby club noted by the IRC member will receive the donation. IRC Members may change how much is donated to their club (either 25%, 50% or 100% of the offered fuel discount) at any time by contacting FnF directly. Discounted fuel already purchased prior to changing the donation percentage, will not be able to be amended.
Your membership can be revoked for abusive or dangerous behaviour while at any IRC event or on any IRC marketing platform/channel.
In advance of the date your membership will expire, you will receive a notification via email and a request for payment of the membership fee. You will continue to receive notices until you complete your renewal, or your membership is terminated. If you wish to discontinue your membership, you will need to contact the IRC via the website “Contact Us” function. You may cancel your membership at any time, but please be advised that refunds are not given.
Privacy Act statement Information about the Member is gathered and stored by IRC in accordance with the Privacy Act for the administration of the Membership which includes sending electronic messages specific to Membership benefits, offers, promotions or marketing. In addition, purchase of the Membership constitutes authorisation to IRC to send electronic messages based upon your profile and interests. By providing your email and details you are expressly consenting to receive recurring news, promotions, marketing, e-newsletters and electronic messages from IRC (as the authorising person) and it’s affiliates/sponsors, about International Rugby Club, IRC Safari Events, IRC Rugbyfests and IRC Sponsors. You have the right of access to, and right of correction of your personal information by contacting IRC. Provision of this information is a condition of purchasing a Membership with IRC.
The IRC may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by recording changes on its website and such changes then take effect immediately.
